The party ROC'D our SOX! People came and the crabs were dee-lite-full. More people drank Killians than Coors Light. Friends helped with the grillin' and it was just a great time. Thanks so much to all y'all that made our party great and for being there for our celebration of the summer.
Bren's birthday was cool. Six years old! Wow!!! He started Tae Kwon Do and so are Bear and I. Guin can't unfortunately cause she needs to be 5. Soon, but we have to enroll her in Ballet/Tap today. She's excited and is gonna have tuns-o-fun.
Bren starting 1st grade is wonderful. The whole day at school and he's good. The teacher tested him and was surprised he's at a 3rd grade reading level. HA! He's so darn smart. It would be nice to take the credit, but he's just naturally curious and figures things out for himself most of the time. Askin' questions every now and then. Same with Schmoopee. They are so different but alike in many ways. Great kids.

The ratties are cute, little sweeties. The cage we've built for them is almost complete. I only need to add one level now and then slowly for the rest. It's a little over 4 feet tall.

I've just been happy with everything...frustrated with SO MUCH TO DO but c'est la vie. If we didn't have anything to do I'd complain about that!
