Bumper Sticker I saw: Childhood is a journey---not a race.

Is there anything more beautiful than waiting at the bus stop for your Kindergartener to come home and when he does, he runs to his sister as his sister runs to him and they give each other a huge hug and a kiss?

...i didn't think so *grin*

*Ok...I'm trying to add the Blogging Mommies code and because I'm such a novice...it ain't workin'...frustrating.
*I finally see it, but I don't know if I like it's placement...like I know how to place it anywhere! *laughing at myself* Try, try again!
Eureka! If I can fumble and make something I barely understand work...pretty much anyone can
*sticks tongue out at screen*

***Great Quote of the day***
"Each of us must come to care about everyone else's children. We must recognize that the welfare of our children is intimately linked to the welfare of all other people's children. After all, when one of our children needs life-saving surgery, someone else's child will perform it. If one of our children is harmed by violence, someone else's child will be responsible for the violent act. The good life for our own children can be secured only if a good life is also secured for all other people's children."
-- Lilian G. Katz, Ph.D.

Bren had a baseball game on Friday. I wasn't able to make it because one of our black kitties almost gave himself a tracheotomy: long story...I'll explain that at Girl With the Curls . So from what Daddy told me...and Bren too (he was sooo excited!), Bren concentrated, focused and did an excellent job with playing his game! woo-hoo...my beautiful, wonderful Little Man! He held the bat properly and hit the balls that the pitcher threw at him. He ran the bases like he needed to hustle and he ran and did his best to catch the balls that came his way. His manager and coach told him how proud they were. I told him too...I was a little disappointed I wasn't able to make it though :(

Guin watched The Angel's (Bren's team name) play. She wants to be in ballet classes...it's expensive, but we're trying to find a good school for her to start. She was a little too young but she gonna be 4 very soon.

Gosh! It is amazing to me how fast kids grow.

Mother's Day was great! Guin told me I had to stay in bed all day and showed me how to lay in bed. haha...I told her I wasn't sick. *smile* Breakfast in bed...fruit and steak, yummm....delicious dinner...mussels, shrimp and stuffed pork chops with vegetables. And because my b-day was on Mother's day...I got my favorite: Birthday Apple Pie! (I greatly dislike cake)

It was a lovely Mother's Day. Bren made a picture frame at school and they took a pic of him and it is beautiful! I have it at work on my desk. Guin got me a oil-burner with the dish being held by three pewter frogs (I enjoy frogs, and turtles, and cows, and pigs, and cats...haha). I'm so lucky to have the family I do. I can't even express. I love them to pieces. Kisses and hugs to my beautiful, precious family!
